About
the APL
| The
APL was started in 2001 and "offers modern day pool designed for
the amateur player".
The APL is a call pocket league
with a 25 point team handicap
with individual players
handicaps ranging from 2-7. The
APL offers a Vegas Qualifier
after each and every session in
both 8-ball and 9-ball. Best
of all if you can’t make the
trip to Vegas for any reason,
you don’t loose out, you can
take the cash!! We also offer
a "Captains" Vegas qualifier
each year at no cost to the
Captains. And many other
tournaments and qualifiers
throughout the year.
The APL calculates players handicaps by
keeping track of innings, balls left on table, defensive shots
and wins/losses. We have designed a handicap system that is more
then capable of determining a
players handicap without taking
the fun out of weekly league
play with overbearing stats that
only can be described as
overkill. You don't
need a calculator and a slide
rule to keep score in the APL.
