The APL held their 8-Ball "End of Session" Vegas Qualifier Tournament at Tacony Billiard Club on July 11-12-13, 2008. It was great pool from start to finish. We had 49 teams in the tournament. When it was all over Lost Sheep from the Moose in Pottstown beat Knockouts from Philadelphia 3-2 for the victory. 8 The Hard Way from Philadelphia beat Body Shots from Kinzer 3-1 to take 3rd place. Grady Davids from Honey Brook beat Players Sports Bar from Philadelphia 3-2 for 5th place. The payout was $10,000.00 going to the first 5 place teams. Champions - Lost Sheep - Pottstown - Captain Don Eck, Jr., other team members include: Carol Miller, Mark Miller, Don Eck, Sr., Doug Rightnour, Corky Yost, Terry Hertzog, and James Hertzog. 2nd Place - Knockouts - Philadelphia -Captain Joey Negron, other members include: Mike McHale, Alexis Rene Coasto, John Sforza, Robert Vincent, Rafael Roman, and Carlos Lebron 3rd Place - 8 The Hard Way - Philadelphia - Captain John (Pockets) Quarles, other members include: Anthony Tatum, Donald Allen, Bill Becker, Jr., Aderito Santos, Stan Stein, Shawn Oliver, and Anthony Johnson. 4th Place - Body Shots - Kinzer - Captain Daniel Marshman, Jr., other members include: Louis Madrigale, Tina Hollingsworth, William Sweigart, Charles Kruger, Debra Uffelman, and Daniel Marshman, Sr. 5th Place - Grady Davids - Honey Brook - Captain Brian McGinley, other members include: Michael McGinley, Robert Zimmerman, Damon DiRocco, Joseph McGinley, Bill Svokus, and Charles Vohinger.
