The APL held their 8-Ball "End of Session" Vegas Qualifier Tournament at Tacony Billiard Club on February 6-7-8, 2009. We had 44 teams in the tournament. When it was all over Foxy's #2 from Foxy's Billiards in Pottstown beat out The D.Q. Misfits from Ballard's Billiards in Philadelphia for the victory and 1st place. Hollar Back from Minquas Fire Co. in Downingtown beat out Foxy's #4 from Foxy's Billiards in Pottstown to take 3rd place. The Eggs Nest from E J's Place in Philadelphia beat out Stables from Stables Pub in Phoenixville to take 5th place. The payout was $10,000.00 and trophies going to the first 5 place teams. Champions - Foxy's #2 - Pottstown - Captain Brian Warwick, other team members include: William Bauer, Grace Trump, Gilberto Santiago, Sr., Michael Strock, Frank Goodridge, Carl Smith, and Randy Schwager. 2nd Place - The D.Q. Misfits - Philadelphia -Captain Earl Ballard, other members include: Lauren Johnson, Keith Abrams, Braheem Farlow, Tyrone Hill, Kenneth Harmon, Jackson Manley, and Michael Snead. 3rd Place - Hollar Back - Downingtown - Captain Fred Smith, other members include: Sharon Taylor, Joe Colace, Gary Woomer, Eddy Scrivens, Joe Amann, Larry Campbell. 4th Place - Foxy's #4 - Pottstown - Captain Ryan Waters, other members include: Tommy Shinn, Alyssa Sorg, Stephen Cornell, John Fair, Ray Styer, Bert Sorg, and Greg Sorg. 5th Place - The Eggs Nest - Philadelphia - Captain Greg Polcino, other members include: Regina Dunkerley, Jack McConway, Thomas Nevin, Sr., Chris Ellis, Joe Narodowski, and John Tobin
