The APL held their 8-Ball "End of Session" Vegas Qualifier Tournament at Tacony Billiard Club on October 24-25-26, 2008. It was great pool from start to finish. We had 45 teams in the tournament. When it was all over The Elite from Appeteazers in Coatesville beat out Broad St. Bullies from Tacony in Philadelphia for the victory and 1st place. Tacony Bad Boys & A Chick from Philadelphia beat out The Predators from Philadelphia to take 3rd place. Cues In Action from Bergey's in Norristown beat out Minquas Fire Co. from Downingtown to take 5th place. The payout was $10,000.00 and trophies going to the first 5 place teams. Champions - The Elite - Coatesville - Captain Louis Madrigale, other team members include: Michael Weir, Tina Hollingsworth, Daniel Marshman, Jr., Rob Trout, Kenneth Kirkner, Thomas Willis lll, and Daniel Marshman, Sr. 2nd Place - Broad St. Bullies - Philadelphia -Captain Leonardo Harrison, other members include: Camille Hall, William Rucker, Saul Velazquez, Jawan Walker, and Kyle Wade. 3rd Place - Tacony Bad Boys & A Chick - Philadelphia - Captain Anthony Johnson, other members include: Celeste Barnes, Thomas Vaughn, Randy Bullock, Marcus Lacey, Earnest Hargust, and Anthony Warren. 4th Place - The Predators - Philadelphia - Captain Lawrence Smalls, other members include: Ernest Bowie, Brian Davis, Demetrius Wright, Anthony Barrett, Donald Smalls, and Joseph Scott. 5th Place - Cues In Action - Norristown - Captain Joseph Watson, other members include: Samantha Watson, James Gore, Bob Pfanders, Ed Easley, Abdel Chams-Eddine, and Richard Cassell.
